The Sierra Leone Institution of Engineers, on the 19th of November, held its first of four scheduled consultative workshops at the Makeni City Hall. The initiative is part of the continuing efforts by the Institution to increase its visibility, improve its strategy for engaging with its members and partners and enhancing its contribution towards sustainable nation-building. Participants at the workshop included engineers from Electrical Generation and Transmission Company (EGTC), Electricity Distribution and Supply Authority (EDSA), Sierra Leone Water Company (SALWACO), other engineering professionals in the northern region, civil society and key stakeholders.
